WHAT TO KNOW.

Have a question that wasn’t addressed? Reach out and we will get you ready for your first session.

  • Pilates is a low-impact exercise method that focuses on strengthening the core muscles, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall body awareness. It involves controlled movements and emphasizes proper alignment and breathing techniques.

  • New clients should arrive to their session at least 15 minutes before your session begins. This early arrival permits enough time for new client paperwork and getting settled into the studio before your session.

  • Core Burn Pilates believes Pilates is for everyone. We welcome all clients to join us in our studios. Whether you're interested in honing their mind-body connection, strengthening their core, or looking for a dynamic workout, Pilates is for you.

Pilates is a welcoming exercise method and we have thoughtfully designed different class options to cater to various levels. Please read the class descriptions carefully before enrolling in a class and consider scheduling your private sessions for an optimal Pilates experience.

We recommend that all new clients, regardless of experience, participate in 3 private sessions. These sessions ensure that you are introduced to the fundamental principles and correct form of Pilates, setting a strong foundation for your practice. Our instructors are skilled in providing modifications and variations to accommodate everyone's needs.

  • We recommend wearing comfortable workout attire that allows you to move freely. Opt for clothing that provides enough support and allows the instructor to observe your form. It's best to avoid loose or baggy clothing to ensure proper alignment and movement.

Grip socks are required in all classes.

  • Our Pilates group classes last for 50 minutes.

We also offer specialized classes, workshops, or private sessions that vary in duration. If you have booked one of these sessions, please inquire at your specific studio to learn more.

  • Pilates can be a great option for rehabilitation and injury prevention; however, it's important to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition or are recovering from an injury.

Our instructors are trained to provide modifications and adapt exercises to accommodate individual needs, but professional guidance is crucial for your safety.
